Jasmine C. Griffin (she/they) conjures a spellbook that feeds the monster yet never lets it devour everything. These poems speak in storms, where witches and vampires drift through myth and memory, and grief and desire burn from the same flame.

Claws rip sails, obsession sinks beneath the tide, yet a bloom of song still rises from the wreckage. This chapbook does not ask for absolution, but for empathy, for a voice to echo back, for clarity buried in tarot and shadow.

Here, memory itself becomes sacrifice, survival measured in fragments, love reduced to ash. Still, Griffin finds just a bit of beauty in what remains. Fierce, feral, and luminous, these poems insist that even in ruin there is power, and that survival itself is sacred spellwork.
